The Treasury has been rebooted to help recover from some insanely high traffic this morning.
All should be running smoothly in about 5 minutes.
Apologies to everyone who was waiting patiently for a list then got booted just moments before the open spot became available. It was the surge of people trying to grab a list all at the same time. I’m still working on a system to help mitigate the demand, and we are getting closer (22 successful open spot grabs in a row until today).

Lists in the Treasury show that you have visited them while you have not.
Solution:
Go to your Flash settings manager at Adobe: Click here
Find ‘www.etsy.com’ in the list of Visited Websites. Select it. Press the ‘Delete website’ button. This will clear the Etsy.com Flash cookie we’ve stored on your computer. Return to the Treasury and press refresh and things should be back to normal.

The Treasury and Chat server crashed earlier this evening but has now been restored. You should find both applications working.
There is something unusual about this latest crash. I am reducing the maximum number of Treasury lists to 1 until we can sort out exactly what the problem is.

The server that both the Treasury and Chat rooms run on crashed earlier this afternoon when a record number of people tried to connect within a short time frame.
The good news is that we keep breaking records with Treasury traffic.
The bad news is I haven’t yet come up with a proper scalable fix that both immediately corrects the current problem and solves the new high record undoubtedly not far away. A solution exists.

Due to an overwhelming response of entries, Etsy admin has not been able to finish judging all entries yet.

A single character value change caused a few unexpected problems this morning.
This affected the ability to get data for the Treasury, the Flash Etsy Mini, the Recent Listed Items, and several other Flash applications.
The change has been rolled back and these features should be working again.
If you had a Treasury, you may want to jump back in and fill out the empty cards now.

There are only 3 days remaining for the Etsy Treasury Poster Challenge. So far Etsy has received more than 1,000 entries (with 40% coming from Treasury, and 60% coming from the Poster sketch tool).
If you are still interested, submit your entry soon (before Aug 1)! Instructions are here.
With regards to the finished prints, here is Jared’s response:
There has been discussion about selling these prints. For this contest, we really just want to give them away. There has also been talk about creating a coffee table book with all the entries. Both of these are wonderful ideas, although unfortunately they are probably outside the scope of our abilities at this time. We’ll keep the possibility open for the near future.
