In this Storque article and this thread, Etsy announces that batch shipping changes are now possible.
Based on the community’s feedback and suggestions, sellers now have the ability to update the shipping on multiple items at once! The new batch shipping feature works very similarly to the sections feature in which you can assign sections to a list of your items all at once. Keep in mind, you will need to have preset shipping profiles in order to batch assign them to your items. Find step by step instructions right here on how to create a shipping profile from our Shipping FAQ’s.
Here’s how it works:
Click the new “Batch Shipping” text link under the “Items” heading in Your Etsy when you are logged into your account.
You will see a list of all your currently listed items on Etsy with a box next to each one (this is where you will assign a shipping profile).
Select your preset shipping profile from the drop down menu next to all all of the items you wish to edit.
Click the “save changes” button at the top right of the screen and you are all set!Special note: Once you save changes to your batch shipping edit, the box to the side of the item will go back to reading “no change.” Each time you go back to edit your batch shipping profiles, the boxes will retain their previous assignment; however, they will simply read “no change” if you choose not to change the shipping profile each time.

This. Is. AWESOME.
When postage goes up again, we won’t have to edit each item individually.
THANK YOU ETSY!!!

AWESOME. I think I’ll have a free shipping sale to celebrate. Now that having a free shipping sale isn’t a huge pain in the ass.

LOL Kristi. I did go and peek through my old listings to see what needed updating, still need to do more. I can’t ship my wooden earring jig internationally, for instance, and didn’t know that when I started listing them.

I was thrilled about this until I started using it…now it appears that I can use batch shipping to add only ONE shipping profile to my listings.
So if I want to offer prices for US shipping and for international shipping, I can do a batch addition of one of those options, but not both.
Sigh.

Never mind, I’m an idiot.

LOL
I take it you figured out that one profile can contain multiple destinations and shipping charges?

You’re not an idiot, Etsy doesn’t make things clear or easy on us. Everything is so convoluted that we start looking for complications even when there aren’t any.
