The sites really been kind of screwy lately…
One of the things Etsy had been doing better is keeping the infrastructure going well. Lately, though, theres been a variety of issues - the load balancer dying and taking all the views with it, plus whatever happened to squerg the views again the other day, plus a variety of temporary outages - about 5 a week it seems. Today, some sort of database thing was going on that has been causing the familiar ‘listings don’t appear in categories for 50 minutes’ issue.
I noticed they added image2.etsy.com and image3.etsy.com lately to complement images.etsy.com.
It seems like the site is creaking under the strain lately.

yeah I have random problems connecting to it too that doesn’t affect any other sites I visit..
