I second Hazel’s request for weekend coverage. It doesn’t mean people have to work 7 days a week, you just stagger the schedules so that some people get their days off on Wednesday and Thursday, or whatever. I’ve done this with a staff smaller than Etsy’s and totally eliminated the dreaded Monday morning backlog. And having days off in the middle of the week is GREAT because everything is less crowded, whatever you’d normally do on your “weekend” like going to movies, museums, restaurants, shopping, etc. It’s actually win/win for the customers and for the staff.
