Etsy has come up with their own solution to the hearts page crashing browsers for people with a large number of hearts.

The Hearts Me feature has been modified slightly. For those sellers and items with more than 100 hearts, they are now shown in batches of 100.Two new buttons now exist below the hearts spiral that allow you to see the next or previous batch of 100 hearts.
The change was made for performance gains. Enjoy!

How dare they break the heart-o-matic! I’ve been using it regularly. Hope it can be saved :)

What a shame that this change broke the Heart-o-matic, since the change fixes just one Etsy problem, but the Heart-o-matic was very useful for several things. I liked being able to see at a glance how many hearts each item had, and to sort by time. For people who pay for promotions, I assume they would use the information that Heart-O-Matic offered as one way of tracking the success of their promotion. I had been hoping that Juln might be able to add “item views” some day. Let’s hope it can be fixed!

That’s nice that there’s a fast counter, at least.
I don’t even understand - why are ‘hearts’ the domain of Jared and the flash team, but not favorites for instance? As the heartomatic shows it’s just info that could be displayed however.
This new thing is an improvement, but it still doesn’t show the times, for instance, and I don’t find the curvy thing the most easy to look at.
