Great for Etsy that they got there, but I don’t like Time’s write up very much.
“The item descriptions will note how many are left in stock. Often there’s only one left—these are homespun operations—but many sellers will take custom orders”
AHEM - many sellers make items that are one of a kind, it’s not that theres ‘only one left’!!
Mainly, the article is geared towards people going and selling stuff.
I want to see press about people going and buying stuff…
And it’s too bad for Etsy that Homegrown Market gets a mention for emulating a feature that Etsy had, removed inexplicably, and has failed to revive for over a year despite claims that they are working on it.
