Glitter- change your “nickame” in the profile, and then in the drop down menu choose “display name publicly as” that nickname

glitter- no, you can’t change it without starting over and losing all your feedback. They have changed names for a few rare cases- it has to be done manually and takes a lot of time. All the user files are stored under the text name I guess, not under the shop ID number. (That’s kind of odd. ) They only do it in extreme circumstances, like trademark disputes or lawsuits. The one user I know of who had their name changed while retaining feedback is married to an Etsy admin.

Oh gosh, that’s an awful thought, Lori. I hope like heck they don’t see that here, it sounds EXACTLY like something I’d expect them to do.

My prediction is they’ll come up with a wish list so that everyone can go to the gift guide and pick out their stuff and have their friends and family buy it for them. No need for the rest of the site, right?
