Ahh, is this like letters with umlauts and stuff? We had the same problem with our credit card processor at my work. It can’t handle umlauts or accents, and it can’t handle telephone numbers that aren’t in the US 10-digit format. People would get false declines so we tell all the international customers to leave their phone number blank, and then it goes through. It’s pretty strange that so many credit card gateways are not set up for international traffic! The internet is worldwide.
