We won’t point to it, because it’s not fair to the victim. But it’s yet another result of the hasty reactions to the most recent, and most FUBARed, billing situation.
Don’t ask about your specific bills in the fora. Etsy admin might answer with your personal info.
EDIT: The damage was done back in May, so it was a result blling problems, but not the current billing nightmare. That doesn’t make the admin’s post any less relevant, given Etsy’s violation of their privacy policy.

The problem is that Etsy has not demonstrated - either in the past or in the present - that they are adequately concerned about privacy and security matters. The billing crisis has buried the accidental logon mess - who knows where that stands? It is still possible for members - sellers and buyers alike - to be profiled as to their income and/or spending habits by anyone who wants to do a little clicking around. Comments are occasionally made by admins without a thought as to confidentiality, etc. None of these issues are new - they are months and months old.
I don’t begrudge Etsy the time they are devoting to sorting out the double-charges and tracking down the source of the original billing error(s). This needs to be dealt with and completely cleared up ASAP - and they are attempting to do so. But this latest disaster is just one more indication that they don’t really have a handle on running this sort of business. You just don’t mess with people’s money or information.

as was posted in the forum thread concerning privacy, it is not up to admin to confirm or deny in public someone’s financial record, even if that person has stated the information in public
there is a such a thing as professinal conduct and consistency - if there was a policy for this in place we would not be discussing this lapse
