Yeah from what I can tell soon in Etsy Land is at least 7 months! That’s about how long I’ve been around and everything that was supposed to happen soon hasn’t happened yet.

Some of the features did say “soon” like alchemy, but etsy’s idea of soon and our idea of soon may differ.

I got the impression that EVERYTHING in that blog was to come IN THE FUTURE. Maybe tomorrow, maybe next week, next month or next year. There really seemed to be no immediacy to any of it. I think there are going to be a lot of disappointed people if they plan on holding Etsy to those blog statements anytime soon!

Yes the blog looks a little bit ironic right now. Last night was the news article with the last line saying there was no downside, no problems, etsy was perfect.
Today the blog has this major problem posted right above that article.
It’s unfortunate timing. :(

I think Rob’s MNC blog spot was usurped by the billing blunder.

I was wondering about that - maybe he meant NEXT Monday night? Or maybe it wasn’t meant to be taken literally (who knows).
