In the absence of a site map (which would be really handy), admin says to go Help for important info:
stellaloella says:
There’s a link on every page of Etsy to the home of the DOs & DON’Ts - it’s the ‘Help’ tab in the gray site header. Then just click on the DOs & DON’Ts link in the left-hand sidebar. The ‘Help’ section hold all the important info like the rules and the FAQs.

If someone hasn’t looked at Help already, making a post buried in a thread telling people to look at Help isn’t likely to help anyone, if you catch my drift.
*sigh*

Yep.
Site map would help. There’s a reason why they are standard.

I still have this sneaking suspicion that existing on Etsy is a “survival of the fittest” type thing. It takes time to search out the info, to work your way round the site, the hang out in the forum in order to get the updates, to know that updates are in the blog, to realise that a certain special showcase was not going to be externally advertised, etc etc etc. Only the strongest and most determined and the most able to hang out on Etsy all day will discover its true meaning …
…. or am I just delusional &/or pre-migrainous?

In admin’s defense (OMG could it be, really!?!?) if people don’t see the Help at the top of the page more than likely they’re not going to notice Site Map to click on either.
Amanda - I agree with you so much.

Well said YarnGirl! (and also LOL)
but (when the images are loading properly) it’s easy to be dazzled by all the awesome handmadedness abounding on the front page and throughout Etsy as a whole!
